I'm not sure it's normal to meet this trouble around 3000 rpm, you have to visit your mechanic for a check !
But, it could be nothing like a dirty gasole filter for example !

Emergency oil change. Oil pan broken on a sticking out drain.
In fact the hole was so big, that I could put my hand into the engine
But it's all right now (except my empty wallet)
I have to look for a steel floor used in racing cars.
Do you have similar problems caused by the low suspension?

I can't imagine the damage !
I'm sure it was not very cheap to repair ! I see that !
With mine, I ride with genuine suspension and I ever met no trouble with that.
So, other members have low suspension here and maybe they tell you if it's ok or not, anyway it depends on which kind of path you drive.
But it's better than to have a broken leg !
Take care of your bug as you take care about your health.

You were close with the fuel filter. At first I changed air mass sensor (most common problem) and checked turbo, but it was ok.
Then I looked into the tank and I couldn,t belive. Plenty of dirt, snot and other shit, which of course blocked the valves. Yuck...
Now everything is ok, I hope so.
First engine tuning next month. It should give about 10-20HP more.
I chcecked some fuels:
Best - Shell V-power (engine seems to be really more powerful)
Worse - BP ultimate (sometimes dirty, and with water)
